After the tired and sleepless night had been compensated with a short 3 hours of sleep, we headed for breakfast at Dragon Palace Restaurant at Chinatown. To all the dim sum lovers like me, this restaurant serves very yummy dim sum, I tell you. Their ha kau and siew mai were big. And the little butter (奶油) paus were very oishii too. When you sink your teeth into it, the 奶油 will be oozing out.
Thanks a lot to Soon's third sis for the breakfast. After fuelling up ourselves, we headed to our first destination, which was a strawberry farm located in Wanneroo. Places in Perth are rather scattered and we actually had to drive a long journey to reach another destination. We finally reached the farm after a long drive. However, we could not enter the farm as it was not the season, which is in October. Aww....too bad. So, we just bought a few boxes of strawberries and snapped some photos. The strawberries here were so big, juicy, fresh and sweet, unlike those in Cameron Highlands. Even the leaves of Australian strawberries were larger than the whole strawberry in Cameron. Aiks...cannot be compared la.
The environment here was tremendously tranquil and comfortable, so much so that I could shift all those things happening in Malaysia to the very back of my brain. What is it called? Cerebellum? What ever. I could finally comprehend the meaning of peace, without the hustle and bustle of the city as well as all sorts of pollution found in KL. Yes, you're right. I actually cant help comparing and contrasting between Australia and KL!

It was spring and of course, spring is famous for blossoming flowers. Initially, we planned to go to Araluen to see tulips. September would be a good time to witness tulips blossoming, but heck, our plan was ruined by the rain. So, we didn't have the chance to fat fa din (發花癲). Sad. We went to Carousel instead. Carousel is a two-leveled shopping complex. Quite large though. Mom bought some macadamia and cashew for dad, who is a nut lover. We bought some chocolates too and then had our icecream and icecream waffle at Gelare.
In the evening, mom, brother and me went out to have a stroll in the neighbourhood. But it was freezing cold. So we just managed to snap a few photos before running back to the house for heater. Hahaha! I couldn't stand the cold with my very thin sweater and had to borrow a thicker jacket from Soon's second sis. Pai seh! Thanks yea.
Escourt Road, Redcliffe, Western Australia
The neighbourhood. Compare the cleanliness & tidiness with those of Malaysia. Then you will go Oh My God!

For dinner, we had chinese meal too at Joy Garden in Chinatown. Snow crab! It was huge! And the gravy was so crabylicious. Yummy! Thanks to Soon's eldest sis for the meal. After dinner, we went to Kings Park and Mill Point to enjoy the night view of Perth.
