My Blissful Christmas

Merry Christmas, folks! I know I'm late by a day but it's still the festive season, right? Right! So, how was your Christmas? Mine was nothing out of ordinary. I stayed at home on Christmas Eve, other than going to buy movie tickets at Leisure Mall and dinner with brother at Station 1.

My brother and I went to Midvalley and The Gardens on Christmas day to celebrate his belated birthday, which was supposed to be on Christmas Eve. We reached there at 10.50am. Early right? Well, we had to because it would definitely be crowded if we were late and not to mention, searching for a parking would be a headache. Despite having 2 free movie tickets, we decided to go for a movie in GSC Signature (we never watched movies there, ok). But dang it! The tickets were not valid for Gold Class or Premiere Class (we didn't know Signature is only for Gold and Premiere classes, ok). So, off we went to GSC in Midvalley, starving. But dang it again! It was so crowded that there was 2 full circles of people lining up. Ok, that's it! We gave up and headed for lunch at the Chili's. The treat was on me since it was his birthday. Here are some of the highlights.

Tequila-lime fish steak

The birthday dude who is officially 21 & crowned as SIN KA WONG!

I'm not a carnivore as claimed by someone. I do eat vegetables, ok.

Yes, we did order the same steak, which we shouldn't really had. Anyway, it was a hearty meal. After replenishing our energies, we went shopping, yeah shopping again, for another 5 hours or so before dinner. It was so incredibly, unbelievably, insanely and terrifyingly crowded that I couldn't find a single empty space other than the toilet cubicle. Every single space was completely filled with Homosapiens. Giordano and Padini stores were even worse due to their buy 1 free 1 promotion.

For dinner, we went to another American casual dining restaurant, TGIF. I actually wanted to order Grilled Salmon but the waiter recommended Jack Daniel's Salmon. He insisted that it was much better with the sauce, the taste and everything. So, I gave in and ordered JD's Salmon instead. However, I was kinda disappointed as the salmon tasted for me as if those canned ikan taucu. And the waiter told me it's very tasty and special. Well, I didn't blame him. Maybe he had never tasted ikan taucu before. Anyway, it was still edible, not too bad. The 10-oz JD's steak was way better!

For your information, Boxing day (a.k.a. St. Stephen's Day) is the day after Christmas and what people normally do on this day is SHOPPING! I don't know if it's practised by Malaysians but my Boxing day was spent with 2 guys and with no shopping at all. Chin Hong and Kok Kwan (KK) came to had lunch with me at a vegetarian restaurant at my place. Then we went for AVATAR at Leisure Mall. Yeah, Leisure Mall. Because we figured other places would be crowded. At first, I wasn't really enthusiasted to watch this kinda movie, you know, with war, extreme graphic, animation and stuff but 10 out of 10 people said it was good and is a must-watch. There I went, so as not to feel sorry for not watching. The movie was okay with some sense of humour but the front part was super boring. Overall, it was a nice and worth watching movie, I would say.

The 2 main casts of the day, CH & KK. Thanks for making my day!

KK & I. I'm growth retarded. Yes, I know.

Chin Hong & I. He stood so faraway, so afraid of me. Or rather I was the 1 standing faraway from him??? Whatever.

Oh, not forgetting, a million thanks to Ms Tan for the gift, all the way from UK. There goes my Christmas this year. Hope all of you will be filled with bliss, joy, happiness or whatsoever while ushering into the new year. Way to go! Way to go!

~Cheers~

A Weird Wet Weird Dream

Hello people! It has been 3 weeks since my last post, my last furious post. Don't worry, I'm not gonna swear or curse in this post. Back to the normal GGM (good girl mode) haahaaaaa! But I'm not a faker. Alright, first thing first - my update. Well, well, well. I've been sick like a dead dog for about a week. I had no idea why. Maybe it's because of the stupid weather. Anyway, it was just an ordinary flu and I'm still alive, whether you like it or not. By the way, my definition of flu is inclusive of fever, cough and flu itself. I'm sure ALL of you have had a flu before but still, I'm just gonna elaborate on my sick condition to give you a better picture. Well, that's not exactly the reason. I just wanna make my post look longer, that's all.

Righty-O-babe. Fever - I was feeling hot and cold like that song of Katy Perry's. Burning hot on the inside but freezing cold on the outside, got it? Cough - Well, coughing like a grandma but surprisingly without those thick, greenish phlegms. Flu - Just the normal and typical runny nose with disgusting nasal fluid and stuff. Eeewww! I'm not gonna go into detail. I had been feeling as such for the whole damn week. Paracetamols and medications were useless. They only made me feel more exhausted with ongoing sleeps without having any curing effects. So, I let my own immune system battle against it and it won!

Recently, I had been doing some Christmas shopping with my family and we shopped in almost all, if not all, shopping malls in KL. So far, I had only bought 2 Chinese New Year clothes, which is a rather surprising record, because I would have at least bought 7 or 8 like what I did in the past years. Of course, it will not end there with just 2 pathetic clothes. The search continues! We also bought lots and lots of stuff for the new house such as cutlery set, plates, bowls, cups, wooden planks (for me to put my babies in my room), comforter sets, bed linens, plasma TV, fridge, washing machine, aircon, induction cooker, rice cooker, pots, detergents??, mop?? and the list goes on and on.

We're going too far. Alright, back to the main point of the post. Last night, I was having this very weird dream. Kinda hilarious but ugghh, really weird. After that dream, I remember my mind saying that I would not wanna join MSMBB Quiz ever again. Why, you might ask? Here it goes. In my dream, all the contestants in the MSMBB Quiz had to strip down to their underwears, regardless of whether you're a guy or a girl!!! How awkward is that, huh? Guys had to strip down to their briefs or underpants or boxers or whatever the eff it is. And girls have to strip down to their bras and panties. Mindblowing? Haha! I remembered watching the semi-naked bodies of my team mates, our opponents from other universities and myself in underwears!!! Oh my dear Lord! And the worst part was, we had to stay like that for the whole competition, which was 3 freaking days! Everyone was in their underwears during the qualifying round while answering the 50 MCQ questions. Then the second day, everyone came dressed up but the semifinalists would have to strip down again. Imagine seeing them in their underwears while doing proposal presentation up on the stage with hundreds of eyes glaring around. And of course the third day was the same thing, the buzzer round. The two finalists (my team and UM team) were battling head to head against each other semi-nakedly to press that buzzer. I wasn't sure whether we were still like that during the announcement of winners because I woke up from the dream. Gosh, I so wished to see the ending!!! My oh my, why on earth was I having this kind of disgusting dreams?? But anyway, it cracks me up every time I think of it.

I miss that moment so much. And I also miss having those sleep inducing and mind torturing lectures in UCSI, fun lab sessions and doing all those bullshit presentations. Suddenly feeling so emo and missing my time in UCSI.

Seeing that I've never talked about the quiz, I thought I would take this chance to briefly brag about our victory, ok? I was the first person arriving at the Blue Ocean Hall. Actually I was on time but I don't know where were the other UCSI students. I started walking to and fro outside the hall because I don't feel like going inside the hall, disturbing the organizers doing their stuff. Somehow, Ms Lim (yes, the Fermentation Ms Lim) saw me and invited me in. We chatted a while and she wished me luck. She even asked," You cant wait for the quiz to begin, is it?" They must have thought I was very much anticipated for the quiz. Damn it! Then she continued doing her stuff. So, I sat there alone, looking like an imbecile. Some of the juniors, whom I didn't know, came and wished me luck as well. I was flipping through the Biotech book but couldn't even complete reading a single sentence. Too much distractions. Musics and drifting of tables and chairs. Instead of revising, I was looking around the beautifully constructed hall and making phone calls to my lovely team mates, rushing them to come over to accompany the lonely me as soon as possible.

About more than half an hour later, they arrived. Thank God! Then students from other universities like INTI, UM, UM Terengganu, Monash, AIMST and others flocked into the hall. After my team mates had settled down, we registered ourselves at the counter and each of us got a goodie bag comprising of a black MSMBB T-shirt, a booklet, pens and sweets. So nice of them for giving us sweets. Well, nice for someone with a sweet tooth, like me. More people came in and we started socializing. I'm not so into socializing but managed to make a few new friends from INTI, UM and AIMST. 98% of them were revising but both UCSI teams were just fooling around and talking and walking around the hall without any notes or books in our hands. Could it be because we were the host? Maybe. Oh come on, as if you can do effective last minute revisions! Frankly speaking, I cant. So, I was chatting with Kelvin and we wondered why are those people looking so stressful. We're here to enjoy, for God's sake. What? We're being cocky? No, not at all. We don't even know what to revise for the last minute and we don't have any tips, mind you! Then I saw Ms Yap at the back of the hall and I ran excitingly towards her. She asked, "Wah, so relax ah? People all studying but you all just walking and joking around." She even challenged me, saying that if my team ever gets into the final round, she would treat me a meal in Tenji (she broke her promise, as expected).

The first round kicked off and we figured that we just screwed it. So many different answers among the 4 of us. I guessed Dr Hon, Ms Lim and few other organizers were kinda disappointed. We thought we couldn't even make it to semifinal round. After the first round, my team did not expect much and just went on to the ice breaking session during the Social Night. We played several lame ice breaking games with all students and get to know each other better. Then, we headed for dinner.

During the second day, we were late and joined the other teams for breakfast where the semifinalists were announced. My stomach started entangling because of the anxiety and I could not eat anything. But Kelvin was still eating very happily and heartily. The 4 of us did not have any preparation the night before as we knew we couldn't have made it to the second round. Of the total 11 teams, 5 teams were eliminated and 6 teams surged into the semifinal round. Muthu and Alicia were announcing the list of semifinalists and UCSI Team A got in, as expected. So, our team (Team B) cheered for them. Suddenly, we heard Alicia shouting UCSI Team B. The 4 of us was like what has just happened? We were looking at each other with all those confused, numbed and idiotic looks while the AIMST team, one of the semifinalist, sitting on the same table with us, were congratulating us. I was like, Oh my God! We did not prepare for anything and today is the proposal presentation thingy! Kelvin was like, what the hell are we supposed to do? After breakfast, we went to unload piles and piles of thick reference books from Chin Hong's car. We actually kinda scared the other teams by the super big piles of books we brought. But we didn't actually use them anyway, haha! In the semifinal round, we were isolated from the outside world for 4 hours. No cellphones, no MSN, no email, no Facebook and no talking to other people other than our own team mates.
We had to be followed and escorted even to the toilet. Not follow into the cubicles, of course. Common sense please. And I had to go to the toilet twice before presenting. Damn! She (the junior) waited outside at the basins! Somehow, I felt like a prisoner or convict. During this 4 hours of complete isolation, we have to come up with a research proposal regarding the theme we got from lucky draw earlier on. Our team got the theme HEAL. So, health first came into mind. Briefly, our research was about preventing cancer using gene silencing and siRNA technology. Ok, enough said. I don't wish to see those question marks keep popping out from your heads. We worked really hard, extracting all brain juices we had, stressing up and hurrying to complete our presentation slides. Thanks Keith for the slides layout. It was very attractive, I must say. Thanks Kelvin and Keith for presenting. Chin Hong and I were basically the ones who would be answering the questions. We were the second last team to present and we were extremely nervous. The hall felt so cold that I was actually trembling. Not sure if it's because of the cold or the fear. But I trembled! Dr Hon and Dr Jennifer (Caucasian professor from UM), who were 2 of the judges, kept shooting us with questions. To make things worse, Dr Jennifer is actually an expert in RNAi technology! Anyway, we learned how to work together as a team under super intense situation and the experience was quite fun.

After the presentation, we expected Team A, with the theme FEED, would have enter the final and I actually quite like their idea. On the third day, the result for finalists was announced during breakfast after 16 hours of incubation. Again, I couldn't eat though I didn't expect much. It's just that eating breakfast is not my style. When Muthu announced the result, we were totally and unexpectedly surprised that both teams with the themes HEAL were in the final round! Muthu claimed that he expected our team to be one of the finalists after seeing our presentation! And again, the 4 of us were completely stunned and started giving each other those silly looks. We jumped straight into bed after the tiring proposal presentation and never did any further research or preparation for the final round. But we still fought to our best ability *fingers crossed*. Both finalists had to do a 10 minutes wrap up presentation to market our own products and the audience had to vote for their favourite team. I found it very creative for the UM team that they decided to heal the environment instead of health. I mean, how many people could actually think of that. That's brilliant and outstanding. In the buzzer round, our team lost by 4 points. Oh well, we did our best. And so, UM team walked away with RM2500 and ours with RM1000. Needless to say, my share of RM250 had already long gone gazillion years ago!

After the competition, both UCSI teams went to celebrate by watching a highly stressful movie (Valkyrie). We should have watched a more relaxing movie
instead (Slumdog Millionaire) but couldn't get tickets for it. After movie, we went for dinner at The Garden. The end! We had a great time. We could actually be very serious and very silly. I learned a lot from them.

Here are some shots of our best moments during the MSMBB Quiz (with the clothes on, of course).

Opening ceremony of MSMBB Quiz 2009

UCSI Teams A and B

It's been a great pleasure working with these guys. Miss them lots~

The ice breaking session during Social Night. That's KK on my right and the other big guy from INTI (if not mistaken), erm...cant remember his name. Sorry!

UM & UCSI Teams A & B

Mind cracking moments during lunch time. Serious people at work. Don't you agree?

The moment of truth. Well, we kinda figured who's the winner.

UM Team A won the first prize and UCSI Team B was the first runner up!

With one of our panel of judges, Dr Hon

With our lovely Dr Renee

With our personal trainer, Muthu!

Closing ceremony of MSMBB Quiz 2009

That's us in some infamous chinese papers after an interview and photoshooting session

Haaaa.....I enjoyed myself and had a lot of fun during the Quiz. Thanks to the persuasive Dr Renee though I turned down the offer twice. Not because I'm a cocky asshole but more so because I'm too lazy to do revision. That's an excuse, not a reason! Anyway, glad I grabbed that opportunity. It was an eye opener for me and undoubtedly experience enriching! I will for sure join this type of quiz again in the future.

I guess I have made it long enough for this post and I hope you still haven't die of boredom. Alright guys, love you. Peace. Happy Christmas & Merry New Year!

The WORST day

This post contains explicit language. Please click the fucking X on your screen if you cannot stand my language and just leave for Christ sake. Now, that was an official warning.

As the title suggested, today is the worst day in the history of my life. Maybe you think that's it's not a big deal after reading it but for someone with everything going right for the past 23 years, it IS a big deal. I'm not trying to be cocky though. Just feel like......whining.

The day started with the launching of my new SmartTAG which I just bought yesterday. Thank God the launching went smoothly. The first catastrophe struck when I was in UM. The purpose of going to UM today was actually to find out where to park the car when I start work in January. After asking several people, I finally figured out that I was supposed to apply for a car sticker at the Security Office. Thus, off I went. It was only 8am and the office does not open until 8.30am. So, I drove a few rounds around the campus.

When it was 8.30am, I made my way to the office. I was looking at the notice posted at the window and a malay girl BITCH, dressed in a security outfit, came out to ask whether I wanna apply for a car sticker. That twat face (simplified as TF) is the most disgusting and rudest person I've ever met.

TF : Nak apply car sticker ke?
Me : Ya. Macam mana nak apply?
TF : Year 1 tak boleh apply sebab year 1 tak boleh pandu, tau?
Me : Saya bukan year 1. Saya akan jadi RA di sini bulan January nanti. So, saya nak pandu. Tapi tak tau mana nak park kereta.
TF : Park di tempat student la.
Me : Mana tempat student?
TF : Tempat student tu tempat student la. Ai ya!!!
Me (starting to get pissed but still being very patient with her) : Kalau saya jadi RA? Park mana?
TF : Tempat staff la, ish!
Me : Ini kali pertama saya di sini! Saya tak tau mana student parking, mana staff parking!!!

Okay. At this point, I was really fucking pissed. She was just saying nonsense! Some more, the Ai Ya and Ish were like splashing a pot of oil to a flaming fire. I was like what the fuck! I wouldn't have questioned you if I know everything, would I? You don't even have to be here. Just stay at home, curl in your bed and suck on your smelly toes or better still, go fuck yourself!!!

TF : Mana offer letter?
Me : Huh? Saya tiada offer letter sebab probation period saya ialah 3 bulan. So, tiada offer letter.
TF : Kad matriks ada?
Me : Belum ada lagi. Sebab kena jadi RA selama 5-6 bulan sebelum apply untuk master.
TF : Tak boleh. Mesti ada offer letter la.
Me : Probation period memang tiada offer letter!!! Jadi mana saya mahu park hari pertama?
TF : Mana-mana la. Beritahu saja mereka kamu hari pertama di sini.

She kept asking me for offer letter or student card or whatever the fuck it's called. So, I left the twat face without saying anything and she just stood there in awe. I then made a phone call to my supervisor and asked for an offer letter. She said there's no offer letter as such for RA in probation. And she added, that the people there (the twat face) do not know anything. She also gave me advice on where to park on the first day. Obviously, the twat face is nothing but a stupid and idiotic moron (I know it's redundant)! I'm so gonna make a complaint about her. I will not forget the bitch's name (MARDZIAH).

We were supposed to get the keys of our new house today. This is when the second catastrophe struck us (my family). I was at McD, munching my fillet-O-fish when dad called mom. A problem has occurred and we cant get the keys today. He said the bank has to complete the payment to the owner before the owner can give us the keys. HELL NO!!! Our rooms in which we are staying now had already been rented out. Where on earth are we (my brother and I) going to stay? On the streets? Or below the crossover bridge? There....another disaster! A bigger one this time.

Dad kept calling the agent and house owner but they never answered. Is this a fucking fraud? Why on earth did the god damn agent ask us to notify our landlord (my aunt) that we can move out by the end of December whereby there are still unsettled payments? Why did she say it was ok to move into the new house before the bank completes the payment? Why did she only tell us we cant move into the new house in the very last minute??? Ugggghhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!! So, all plans were ruined, including renovation. That's not it yet. All the new furnitures we bought, where are we going to place them?? Lucky for us, the current landlord is my aunt. So, the only way is to bunk in her place for a couple more months.

Anything that could possibly go wrong (even with a possibility as low as 0.0000000000000000000000000000000001) has gone wrong! What a day! Maybe these are some sort of tests from God.

Alright guys, I'm gonna fuck off buzz off now.

2012

It's a Saturday again. Friends had been alerting me about the new movie on screen - 2012. Me, being the 2012 fanatic, was already aware of this and I couldn't miss the chance to see this Roland Emmerich's masterpiece. I had always wanted to watch this film since I saw its trailer few months back. So, dream came true for me (well, exaggerated a bit) as I had the chance to watch the movie 2 days after its premiere!

I tried to make some online ticket reservations but heck, I couldn't even enter due to the overwhelming traffic of the GSC website. Great! Can you imagine it? Traffic!!! No kidding. Ooohh! I HATE traffics! Shit! Couldn't reserve any tickets. All tickets will be sold out at the ticketing counters by then. Lucky for me though, my brother had 2 extra tickets (he reserved 6 tickets but 2 of his friends couldn't make it). But who am I going to ask? I only had 1 lonely ticket as the other one is for myself. So, we cant go in group of four (as planned). Sorry! 2 of you couldn't make it in the end anyway. So, I guess it doesn't matter if I go watch right? Haha. Will make it up for you someday ... :P

And thus, I started asking other 'not-in-group' friends.
1. Ching Ngie : Working
2. Sharon : Lazy to go Pavilion
3. Chin Hong : Sure. I want to watch.
4. Isaac : Oh no! I wanna watch but I'm going back to hometown.
5. Esther : Hell yeah!!! What? 12 noon??? Hell no!!! I have to fetch my sister to her piano lesson at 1.30pm.

Ok. 12 noon seemed to be a not-so-appropriate time but that's the only option we had. Obviously, the ultimate conclusion is CH. We arrived at Pavilion at a quarter to noon and loitered around aimlessly while waiting for my brother to pass us the tickets as he had picked the tickets up for us earlier on. He was 5 minutes late. I was paranoid thinking we had missed the beginning but luckily, the trailers were just starting not long ago. Gazing around the theatre, I wasn't surprised at all to see that it was a FULL HOUSE with not a single place left.

My favourite place for movies

For those who had yet to watch the film, I wont ruin it by posting spoilers. But I highly recommend this film to every one. 3 thumbs up from me!!! It was so action packed that you will grit your teeth and scream together with the other audiences. Well, not exactly scream, if you get what I mean. So, go watch!

After watching a film, I, like most folks, enjoy talking about it. It's just what you do. The ultimate and favourite questions are :

1. Is that day going to come?
2. Are we all gonna be doomed in about 3 years from now?
3. What had people done so far despite being warned?
4. Are those arks really being built now to prepare for 2012?
5. Are we all ready for the end of world?
6. Is there going to be a new world after 2012?

That's pretty much the time we can kiss our asses goodbye. We'll see, folks. I hope the filming industry will produce more films like this rather than some shitty movies (titles not mentioned).

Got back, drizzling outside, had a hot shower and I dived straight into my comfy bed. Suddenly, some unknown guy came to see my room as he's interested in renting it. There goes my sleep. Damn! Dead tired but never got the chance to close my eyes for even a short 10 minutes. So, I started loading my youtube for Amazing Race AGAIN!

I like squatting on my office chair (you know, those chairs with wheels) and roll across my room. As usual, I squatted on it and glide from my bed to the table even though the distance is only about 4 feet or so. I gave myself a mighty push and felt my hair was flying stylishly for a moment. And guess what? I couldn't brake it time! BANG!!! I hit my freaking ass leg straight into the table. As a result, I got a souvenir for that, which is a bluish black bruise measuring 3.5cm just below my knee. Lovely!

The evidence after the hit and run accident

Gosh! I wonder why I always knock onto things. Last week was my god damn face and now, my leg. Could I be more dumber than ever? (More dumber? Can we write like that? Whatever!). I think this might be one of the side effects of my rotting process. Anyway, it's no big deal. I'm tough. Yes, I am. Hahaha! Feeling happy for seeing a good film today. It pays off!

This is another side effect. I really love acting silly lately!

Good night!~

A Curvy November

Last night and in fact, a few nights before, I told myself to get to bed before 1am but yet again, as usual, I couldn't. Why, you might ask? Well, because .......... I was just an episode away from the finale of the freaking Amazing Race season 9. I felt reluctant to go to bed with the thought and curiosity in my mind, thinking and guessing who will be the winner. So, I further delayed my sleeping time to another 2 hours. Wise choice, huh? I wonder how damaged my pathetic liver is. YES!!! The team that I had been rooting for (the HIPPIES) won! Yahoo~~~ Ok, enough with my freaking Amazing Race.

Woke up at 11am, feeling not so awake though, with heavy eye lids and uncollected soul. Perhaps my soul was still wandering in dreamy land. As I strolled my way to the washroom, I slammed my god damn face into the door. I was so tired that I didn't notice I was actually one step off the opening. Yea, that's funny, keep laughing. DANG IT!!! No cuts and bruises though, for I'm thick-faced. Hahahaha.

It's a Saturday and it's not quite possible for us (brother and me) to stay quietly at home. That's so not us! No idea where to go at first. But anyway, final decision ---> we're going to The Curve. The last time I went there was like...more than a year ago? Couldn't really remember. Feeling good to go there for a change, instead of always going to Pavilion or MidValley. Because there is less m people here, though it's inevitable.

We had lunch at Kim Gary and then proceeded to photoshooting session. The model wasn't me, of course. Just took some random shots of the surroundings. Guess you are tired of my long winded and wordy lame post by now? Alright, to save you from boredom, here are some of the shots. Haha... Sounds like I'm giving you two shots of Johnnie Walker.

Splashes!

Cascading miniature waterfall

More cascades!

Purposely post this photo in case you are missing the blogger already :P See what I meant by thick-faced me?

e @ Curve. Not much to see or walk here.

Let the bloody picture speak for itself

I'm in New York City. LOL! This is officially one of my favourite piece

Not supposed to take photos there for unknown reasons . Full stop.

My so called mergence of Dubai and Milan. Silly me!

Yup. This is indeed the ceiling of The Curve. Artistic?

After all these photoshootings, of course we did some shopping! I bought myself 3 shirts from Brands Outlet at Ikano. Well, I must pamper myself a little and get myself something so as not to get disappointed with nothing after 4 hours of walk (excuses), right? And I also bought a set of...erm...er....don't really know what it is called. Those containers for salt and sugar?? Got it? Yea, whatever. Bought that from IKEA for our new home =)

As I was happily shopping, she miss called me again. Why again? Because this had been the third or fourth times. I don't know what is wrong with her. Suddenly said that she saw me somewhere, but the fact was she wasn't even there (Another friend told me she's actually at another place with him. That's why I knew she wasn't there). Wonder why she wanna do that. Hmm... She's kinda freaking me out now.

I have no idea since when I became so rude. But I love it. All 3 of them

Last but not least, the prize of the day...
A wooden giraffe peg from My Playground redeemed with 3 receipts

Went home, feeling tired but contented, I jumped right into bed. Did not plan to sleep though but it's hard not to fall asleep, you know. So, God's will, I dozed off. I wasn't awake until I heard several faint sounds resembling the nudges and message alerts in msn. I was standing at the entrance of a place called dreamy land, with one foot stepping into it. In my subconscious state, I knew some one was nudging and calling me but I was too tired to reply. Ok, it was really getting on my nerves as the nudges became more frequent. Squinting my eyes, I saw four blinking orange tabs on my lappy screen. That was when I was forced to spring out of bed, eventually.

Feeling much more awake when the night falls deeper. Really enjoy blogging late at night when every one is supposed to be sleeping. Some more, feeling thirsty now. Wish I could have a glass of chilled lemonade as an immediate thirst quencher. Oh yeah, speaking of lemonade, I have a story to share. The other day, as I went to buy lunch, I observed the process of making lemonade while waiting for my food. The waitress threw in a slice of lemon (yes, only one lonely slice), half a bag of sugar, add in water and stirred. And Ta Da...there's your lemonade! God! I can't believe I used to drink that shit! I'll be surprised if we don't die of diabetes from drinking it. God damn it, now I want some lemonade! I'm a hypocrite, I know, alright! Whatever. And I'm a so-whatever type of person. Well, whatever! What freaking ever!
Wanna get my drink now as I'm feeling severely dehydrated.

P/s : Will try to update my blog regularly. Keep in touch, mates! :P

I'm still alive

Hey peeps, have you guys been missing me? I know some of you might have been wondering where the hell I am or what I'm doing. Right? Right?? Alright, whatever! Somebody had been complaining and whining constantly about how disappointed they were when they typed in my blog address into the URL space, only to find out that my latest post was still 'Just For FUN!!!' and I haven't posted anything for the past 3 weeks or so. And guess what? Yea, they were right! Thank you guys so much for being my supportive readers. I don't even know I have fans here. Sweat =.=''' I realize that my blogging habit had somehow become very passive recently. So I just thought of posting some lame shits for the sake of feeding my pathetic anorexic blog. Oh, and not forgetting to satisfy my beloved readers. Heeeheee...

Let me review what I had been doing recently. To be honest, I stayed in my room almost 24/7 everyday just to watch all seasons of Amazing Race, starting from the very first season. Yea, call me outdated, slow paced or whatever. Who cares? I just enjoy watching this reality show so much. It's so addictive that I could hardly stop. I kept loading my youtube (well, yes, I watched in youtube since I couldn't find it elsewhere) after every part, even if it stopped every 10 minutes. But hey, it's really fun to watch, for Christ sake!

I always enjoy traveling but this show had really further activated the travel bugs in me. Not really to say that I want to join the race (due to the fact that I'm lacking in physical and probably mental strengths) but I do really want to travel to those breathtaking places. Well, not all of them though (don't really like India). Those contestants were darn good racers. By good, I mean really good, as in competitive, fast, strong, smart, bla bla bla. I really admire their spirits and determinations to win the million dollars. I was not just watching for fun, ok? I'm learning to be strongly determined in what ever I do because I certainly believe that determination would finally lead us to victory! Yeah!

These are some of my favourite highlights of the Amazing Race season 14 (my favourite season). Go Go Go Jaime & Cara and Margie & Luke!!! Jaime & Cara was the first ever all-females team to make it to the final 3 in the history of Amazing Race. Woohoo!~

A priceless sneeze from Kisha (Season 14) at minute 8.58

Kisha and Jen fighting over the Roadblock. So damn funny starting from minute 4.26. I couldn't help but kept laughing and replaying. P/s : Focus on Kisha's expression

See how Luke painted Margie's (his mom's) face from minute 3.48. Margie kept looking at the mirror and surprised to see herself! He is so adorable and his mom looks damn funny

Besides watching all these racings, I also did some other things, of course. I had meeting with my supervisor in UM, had a hair trim and not to be missed, shopping!!! I'm not gonna talk about the meeting here (cause the mood is just not right!). And I'm not gonna show you a photo of the recent me because you might not be interested to see it anyway. But I'll be showing you this.

Extremely stressful reading those sleep-inducing & mind-torturing scientific journals. Enough said!

And this is my shopping result. Yea, my first GAP, baby!!!

Oh yes. I did watch some movies too. Jennifer's Body featuring the so-called irresistible Megan Fox and cutie Amanda Seyfried was a thumbs down for me. Rather lesbish....hmmm. Another movie I watched was Ninja, which is a must-not-watch. You can predict the whole story and it's just plain boring. Some more the guy sitting behind me kept kicking my seat whenever some one was killed. I don't know what's wrong with his reflex system. I felt like turning around and slapping him. It's so not cool, dude!!!

And so, that's my latest update. Guess I had made it long enough for this post. Till then. I wanna continue racing. Super excited! Bye~

Got pissed!!!

Today, I went to Midvalley for lunch with my buddy, Sharon, who's working there. I took the train to Midv and arrived early. So, decided to loiter around while waiting for her lunch break. At around 2.15pm, she arrived and we went for lunch at Chili's. I've always wanted to try out at Chili's for a long time but always couldn't make it because some people are 'airplane kings and queens' who always FFK me :P. Well, finally have the chance today. Yippie!

My Fish & Chips

Sharon's Tequila-Lime Fish Steak

The food were okay with bottomless soft drinks, fruit juices and potato chips. And they serve BIG dishes. I couldn't finish my chips. LOL! However, fish and chips here is not as nice as what I had in Fremantle. The first three bites were still okay but after the fifth bites onwards, I felt like swallowing chunks of fried flour! But I would highly recommend tequila-lime fish steak, which comes with vegies and rice. That's very yummy and fishylicious, for me laa.

After lunch, I took the train home. The KTM today was not too crowded. Perhaps it was still early. But when I reach South Lake station, holy Mary mother of Jesus, the station suddenly became so so so overly crowded with people blocking at all train exits. Imagine during a fire emergency, there's only one fire exit and all the people are pushing their ways through the tiny opening. That's how it was!

I was supposed to be the first to get out as I was standing near the door for the entire journey. But heck! Those barbarians outside were trying to pry open the train's doors even before it stopped! Can you imagine how horrible they were? They were like those zombies in Resident Evil, trying to bite and infect another uninfected human being! My goodness! When the train has stopped completely and the doors were opened, needless to say, they immediately dashed in. There's not only one or two of them but a lot! Perhaps around 20-30 per entrance!

There were several students behind me, also struggling to get out. I couldn't squeeze myself out and shit, the doors were about to close. Logically, I can always get down at the next station and get my train back. But what made me angry was that those retarded freaks were very uncivilized and barbaric. I got pushed back in! They should let the passengers get out before boarding the train. I shouted "Excuse me" but no one bothers. Then all of a sudden, I exclaimed, "Fuck off, fuckers!!!" For a moment, I thought I was going to be punched or slapped or something like that. But surprisingly, those barbarians suddenly gave way and kept apologizing "Sorry! Sorry!". Just like a dog!!! Forgive me for being so rude. But hey, with these people, I don't have to be polite at all! It's not that I like to criticize them. Sigh ... I'm getting even more anti- m people (if you know who I mean) now! Alright, I better stop this topic. Very sensitive issue.

I then stormed out of the train very stylishly (eherm) followed by the few students just now. Two of them even thanked me for helping them to open the way! What the hell! Well, I just smirked and walked on by.

Never in my life had I been so furious
Never in my life had I lost my temper in front of strangers
Never in my life had I scolded someone with vulgar words
And never in my life had I been so ....... audacious. Haha!

Perth Getaway Season Finale

Wakie, wakie! Get up and get changed! Bring along your jacket. It's rather cold today. We have a few places to go. Do you know where our first stop of the day is? Alright, I'll give you a hint : I'm a chocolate maniac. Got it? Did you say going to buy chocolates? Damn smart! Yes! We're going to a chocolate company, Margaret River Chocolate Company, to be exact. This company, or rather factory, is located at Swan Valley, which is quite far, I would say. It provides free chocolate tastings and there's a viewing window for you to see how the BABIES were made.

The process of making babies (I mean chocolates, ok)

Free tasting of 3 core varieties. Clockwise from top left : Dark, white and milk pastelles

This looks like...golds in toilet

A wide range of mouth-watering chocolates!!! So chocolicious!

There are more

Begging for more?

There you go. This is just part of it. But the truth is, the whole cabinet measuring umpteen feet long and wide is completely occupied with chocolates!

How I wish to work here and indulge myself in the fascinating world of CHOCOLATES!!! Cadbury and Lindt had been my utmost loyal partners during stressful exam periods. I can finish the whole bar alone (largest bar, mind you). Nah, forget about the calories! But I seldom eat chocolates nowadays since I don't have anymore exams (YAY!). Trying to be weight-conscious and maintain my weight below 45kg. Kekeke.... If you notice me getting fatter, then it must be Cadbury and Lindt. Deng!

My best and loyal friends. Oh my god! How can I leave out Old Jamaica? He's my best friend too.

Outside heaven

Let's drive to the Swan Valley and Sandalford winery (Caversham vineyard) nearby. There's free wine tasting too. You can try and buy some if you like it. Too bad I'm not into wine. Guess I'll just snap some photos. You guys don't be shy and go ahead yea.

Swan Valley and Sandalford Wineyard (Caversham Vineyard)

Let's take a look at Curtin University (Soon's uni) before we head out to Fremantle. I bet you're hungry, right? I can hear those grrr-ing sounds from your stomach.

Here we are at Fremantle

From left : Chilli mussels, fish & chips and fried squid (Soon's heaven) and prawn spaghetti at Cicerello's Landing

He looked exhausted carrying the heavy catches so we decided to lend him a hand

Alright, let's walk to the Maritime Museum. But don't expect too much. There's nothing much to see there. Only a ship wreck and some antiques. Oh, and a set of skeleton.
Outside Maritime Museum

The trip to Perth is incomplete without going to Kings Park. Let's hurry to cross that glass bridge before it closes at 5pm.

Remember we missed out on the chance to FAT FA DIN at Araluen? Now we got the chance! A variety of flowers of different colours and sizes can be found here. So grab your chance yea!

They do look like faces, don't they?

Roll, Soony, Roll!

Soon and I went for steamboat buffet with Michelle, Ah Jia a.k.a. Ah Kei (the chicken) and her sis, Clover at Dragon Seafood Chinese Restaurant at Chinatown. Really haven't met them (high school friends) for a long time. 3 years, if my mind is still working right. The buffet was AUD31 (student price) and the scallops were very huge and yummy!

Alright. I really should be in bed now. It's really not good to stay up late. So, I'm signing off for now. See you soon. =)
