Happy Valentine's Tiger New Year

GONG XI FA CAI!
GONG HEI FATT COI!

GONG HEE FATT COI!

KIONG HEE HUAT CAI!

It's the year of the Tiger, people. It's my year! I shall keep roaring while ushering into the brand new year! Cherish the present, forget the past. This year, the auspicious and paws-perity occasion coincides with the romantic splendour. I hereby wish you all a Happy Chinese New Year and Happy Valentine's Day (though I'm late by a week. I was busy, ok). This coincidental clash of CNY and Valentine's day only happens for don't know how many years. The next one will be in year 2048 (according to MY fm). Let me see. I'll be 62 by then, if I'm still alive. Haha! This figure is so funny. So, people, appreciate this special day!

As I had lost my Valentine last year, I celebrated this once-in-a-blue-moon special occasion with my family. Not too bad though. At least not alone...LOL! By the way, I finally watched the local decent production Tiger Woo Hoo 10 days before CNY. It was a great movie! 4 thumbs up from me. The little tigers are so cute.

My CNY this year was nothing out of the ordinary. We had reunion dinner at aunt's place. However, this year is quite quiet as they are going traveling. Enough said. Sneak a peek at my captured moments.

My new collection. Bought it on the third day of CNY (sponsored by dad). I'm lovin' it.

I watched 72 Tenants of Prosperity with my family at The Curve. This movie was so funny! Worth watching! Imagine putting sugar on your eyelids in a make-up process. Not enough? How about applying some orangish-red belacan oil onto your lips as lipstick / lip gloss? Very nice! I went to Genting on the sixth day with my family. Went to the casino and gambled (not my money). We were playing "Big Small" and I put my bet on small (buying small numbers from 4-10). But then my brother asked me to remove the chips from 4, 5 and 6 and so, I did. !@#$%^&* When the dices were revealed, it was 2, 1 and 1. It was 4!!! 1 wins 50 leh. We were supposed to win RM500 but..............sigh. This story tells us that what's yours is yours.

Chin Hong and KK came to "rampas Ang Pao" from my mom on the sixth night. We then played poker and another card game created by KK, the Poker King or Pok Kai King (Tony, 2010). Needless to say, I was the loser queen. Yay! On the seventh day of CNY a.k.a human's birthday, I went for movie marathon and Lou Sang with KK and my brother at Pavilion. KK and I watched Percy Jackson and The Olympians : The Lightning Thief at Pavilion. The movie was superb and the Olympian Gods were damn yeng (in my opinion). Fifty thumbs up from me! The novel comprised of 5 series. I hope it's a good news for the movie too as I'm a Percy Jackson lunatic!

He's so "yeng". Don't you agree?

Then we went Times Square to meet my brother, who was loitering around, snapping photograph for brunch. We ordered mini Yee Sang at Sushi King. The Yee Sang there was so much different and delicious than the ordinary ones that we used to Lou. Very oishii, I tell you. We'll have another Lou Sang session next Friday. This time at Sakae Sushi....kakaka.

Mini Yee Sang at Sushi King. Oishii......

Lou higher.....higher...and higher. Stand on top the chair...

After brunch, we still have a long, sweet 3 hours to kill before our second movie. What to do?? We walked back to Pavilion and stopped by at Starhill on the way back. We then hang out at Theobroma Chocolate Lounge. I had always wanted to try out the chocolate drinks there but after trying...hmmm, not anymore, I think. Kinda disappointed actually. My brother's Ms Coco something was sweeter than the sweetest caramel. Good for phlegm accummulation. I ordered Princess of Iceland and it was like tasteless.

Princess of Iceland (My "Milo")

Tony : Tastes like Milo.
KK : Worse than Milo
Me : =.=''' What had I ordered?

Finally, 5.20pm had reached. It was time for our second movie, Valentine's Day. I should be watching this with my Valentine but as I said....haiz. This movie features some of the most prestigious and famous and outstanding etc. Hollywood actors and actresses like Ashton Kutcher, Anne Hathaway, Julia Roberts and TAYLOR SWIFT!!!!! (Ok, I was too excited to know she's in the movie) just to name a few. Anyway, this movie was not as good as Percy Jackson. But still ok though, not bad. The OST from Taylor Swift (Today was a fairytale) was awesome!!!

CNY past in a glimpse. It's Sunday again. I so so so so don't want Monday to come. I HATE WORKING DAYS! SAY NO TO WORKING DAYS!!!!! Sigh.....Not in the working spirit yet. Must tell myself, I love my job, I love my job, I love my job......

I see you...

Happy Chinese New Year once again. I'm still in a CNY mood. Working mode : OFF please.
